Subject: Can I whine about my job?

I work at Menard's which is like Home Depot. Just about exactly like it... gigantic and insanely busy on the weekends and lots of other times in between.

I work very long shifts.. 9 and 10 hrs sometimes. Standing, standing, standing and it's SO hard on my feet!! I love making money and I actually love my job. It's lots of fun!

But MY FEET HURT! I had been walking 3 miles a day every day for months before working there but apparently walking and standing are two different things! Owwie!

Oh, and although I'm currently enjoying 3 days in a row off I will pay for it by working NINE STRAIGHT DAYS after that. Not wild about the scheduling, either.

Since we can't do anything about the schedule, does anyone have any great shoe suggestions for my poor footsies?

I really like these. I also am on my feet most of the day. You can pick them up at most sporting goods stores.

shox that I never thought I'd get, but they were $25 so I didn't resist. They're very 'stable' and very, very comfortable. I also have shoes by Clarks that I love. Do you have one of those 'Walking Company' stores around? You could try some things on...and then go find them way cheaper online.

Only time mine have hurt wearing 'em is if my sock got bunched up around a toe.

They're like rockin chairs for your feet ;D

P.s. he bought 'em thru their site, i went thru amazon and saved $ as well as gettin mine sooner even tho i ordered later nannynannybooboo ;P
