..to go a couple iterations. I probably took 3-6 months before I was truly happy, but to me it's way worth it (but note I have horrendous correction of -11 and worse in both eyes, plus astigmatism in both). The far one was no problem but the close one - I ended up going standard lens w/o astigmatism correction because with the correction I couldn't read my monitor, where I spend all my time at work! The far one was fine; just like it would normally be, but we had to play a bit with the close one. I think I've been doing it about 3 years now and hope to do it as long as I can! I do have glasses for night and driving that I wear that brings the close out out far, as you lose some acuity during dusk or rain or night; the one lens is a blank, the other corrected to bring that eye out far. Worth the investment to me. FWIW. (And here I work for a company that makes contacts but can't wear ours!)

Make that it 'brings the close ONE out far', so yes, I wear glasses on top of contacts for driving, events like a baseball game, rainy days, nighttime outside, etc.
