Although the AC officer in my area is an undereducated moron so I don't know if it'd help.

We had a rescue here that was walking the line of becoming an issue- we talked to a few board members and they changed a few things to keep it from becoming a problem.

I also have told clients that they CANNOT keep the new kitten and that it is too many and not fair to their other pets.

Hoarding is a mental illness and no matter how much cleaning up gets done, unless someone can help the person, it will happen again.

That said, I have gotten hoarding comments from idiot relatives who cannot fathom that Tim and I WANT to live with 4 cats and 5 dogs. It is a lot, but we keep them busy and clean and cared for and if our house is occasionally messy because of it- we see it no different than a family with toddlers.

I hate when people focus on the numbers instead of the care. I have several clients with 9 to 11 cats who do a very good job, and I know of a few with 1 or 2 who will make no effort at all.

dunno if i tolja's but wayne brought him home in may.
tabby kitten and love him to pieces! not an ass like Boo can be but our animals are well cared for even tho I didn't want a 3rd, Dizzy's just too cute for words!

she hates him but i guess that's to be expected in an 8 y/o cat compared to a 5 mo. old kitten ;-)

Space enough for the humans to live comfortably

Space enough for the animals & their animal behaviors to live comfortably.
