My usually pretty quiet kid, at least through MS, was the one knocking on all the dorm doors last week trying to get all the kids to meet each other! He didn't contact us from Fri-yesterday morning, and then it was to get permission to blast home and do laundry (to see the pooties is the real reason) - saw use for a few minutes and took off (got home mid aft while we were at work). Hubs is about like me, but hides emotions...

Oh I DO love having you to help me grow mentally! I desperately need to stop being a cynical snot. lol
The *highlight* of my week, so far, is finding out I get to work 8A-5P (schedule is currently 11A-8P) Wednesday through my normal day off, Friday. Woohooo!
It really IS something to look forward to, and I'm glad you have me 'pointed in that direction' lol.
It means I'm trained in one more department, and I love being as multi-purpose as possible for when I make my "big" move. ;) ... It also means getting home earlier, so I can do laundry one of those nights (that will happen....Well it COULD)...AND, I don't really mind losing my Friday off cuz I scheduled Monday holiday a month ago. heh hehe. ;)
It's kinda fun working for a company that changes gigantical plans in the middle of a week, like this. ;)

We used to spend a lot of time together...talking, eating, just hanging out.
But, recently our lives have taken different paths. We don't get to see each other very often. She doesn't come to church as much as she used to. However, on Sunday she was there. The sermon was "Enduring Friendships". After church I gave her a hug and thanked her for our enduring friendship. Even though our time together isn't what it used to be, our friendship is still one of the things I cherish.
We set up a lunch date for Wednesday. Looking forward to it.

They have been simple things this week. Marty and I have been having a lot of fun making plans for our anniversary vacation and watching TV on DVD together. Nothing major, but moments I love. Just me, Marty and the dog, sitting in our own house, being thankful for our lives as they are. :)
That and having lunch at my favorite Thai place this week. Mmm.. curry.... :D
