My dad's 62 and he doesn't take care of himself like he should. I can all too easily imagine what you're going through. I guess all I can say is that I'll keep a positive thought for both of you.

I'd take the neurologist's opinion WAY over the therapist's. That dumbass had no right to take hope and determination away from your Dad. Personally, I'd demand a new OT, and register a complaint against this person.
