thanks. i went to the book store and got a bible. i looked up that verse. i'm not sure if i understand right. but here's what i'm getting right now. god has this son through mary. son grows up. dies on this cross and takes away all the sins of mankind with him. so far it sounds pretty depressing. but then if i ask jesus into my heart and ask him to forgive my sins. i am a christian. and i will have a personal relationship with jesus christ. but the thing is. i have done things so bad that i don't think even god could help me. i looked at the ten commandments and i think i have broken nearly all of them. i mean i'm am very logical. i excel in algebra and math because its logical. but this...i don't know. i mean i can't see it. i'm a "see it to belive it" kinda guy. so this is really hard for me.
