Teen Monkeys

This board was created for Teen Urbanites by a Teen Urbanite. Everyone is welcome and there is no signing up. All that I require is that whenever you decide to start posting, make your first post be about yourself tell us where your from, interesting stuff about you, and anything else you would like us to know.

Even though this board is mainly about Keith, feel free to talk about anything, your problems, great things that just happened or happened a while ago. Anything.

This is an unrated board so unlike CMT we are allowed to say whatever we want. No need to block out any letters if you know what I mean.

I do have a few requests though:

1 ) Please NO bashing of Keith or other members of the board. Like I'm sure we've all been told before, if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all.

2 )No bashing of Keith's decisions, you guys know who / what I'm talking about. We can discuss it but no arguing like over at CMT, we don't need any more chaos.

3 ) Absolutely no bashing of fellow posters.

There are two moderators / owners of this board, Sienna and Sarah. Oh, one more request, just relax and have fun, and make some good friends.

for all of you that don't know, i work at a cutting/reining horse ranch. so anyway i was on my way to work today and my boss calls and says to hurry up. so i get there and the vet is there. bad sign. phil the owner says that holly an older mare that i excercise had colic and the vet is going to put her down in a few minutes. but they wanted to wait for me so i could say goodbye. cause holly was really special to me. any way i sat down and held her head as they gave her the injection. then i went and fed the others, rode my usual 5 other horses, and worked with my 4 yearlings. when i was done phil came over and told me to come to his office for a few minutes. when i got there he said that he couldn't afford to pay everyone so he was down sizing the staff. 5 people were being let go. i was one of them. every time i think about it i wanna throw up. its horrible. not only did i lose my fav horse i lost my job. a wise old man once told me, that every cowboy and cowgirl has one special horse in their life. he was right. for me holly was that horse and now she is gone. now that i have no way to make any money my dreams of seeing keith are for sure gone. i was hoping to take a trip to nashville this summer. so much for that. life throws some hard curves sometimes. life hurts. please pray for me.

Have any of you emailed the Fan club people to just let them know thatthere is a teen board out here for Keith - and it isn't some rich kid whose folks gave them $$ to put together some fancy shmancy thing, it is just a real honest to goodness board where all kids are welcome - if they can type, they can come on - OK maybe not that young, but just tell them 10 or 11 and up - give them the address and tell them the name and tell them to check it out - maybe they will appreciate it. I know sienna trien with KUfans and they wouldn't, but I am suggesting his .net - as in official Fan board. They might like to know there is a site where we horrid adults don't get to sit around and fight! ♥ F

I have only posted three times on CMT - I use Shay's username there - and I don't post or join because they fight so much it's like bing in the middle of an all male pack of hounds with a bitch in heat in your arms - all you want to do is scream and run! And for anyone out there who thinks I am using foul language, that isn't true - a female dog IS called a bitch. So you see it is not really an insult in the way people today use it. Anyway, I just wanted to say that you guys have started developing a really nice website here and should try to get a note to Keith - knowing it is teen, he might even have someone from his fan club come on and say Hi - now he may not, they may ignore you altogether, but it is worth a try! Keep having fun here! ♥ Faith (rachel, I posted the whole secret for the hearts down on the thread where you said you gave up! Hi! Im bored so im gonna tell a story! Im a huge Keith fan as you already know, but my friends at school think Keith is gay! And i ALWAYS stand up for my man but they still think hes gay! If he was gay why would he have a girlfriend/fiance/wife (who knows)?! So my friends are weird and they dont like country music! They think its for hillbillies and maybe it is but in Northern Maine the main kind of music people listen to is Hip Hop/ Pop stuff which i dont like! So ya like vacation is almost over!!! Not fair!! But we only have like 8 weeks left of school!! Im gonna be a sophomore next year!! Im guessing im a lot younger than most of you!! Im only 15!! Anyways my freshman year was HORRIBLE!!! I've never been so stressed out in my life!! It was really hard and i HATE science!! I just barely got into Biology 2, which was what i really wanted to do!! And my cousins like i get bad grades but I got honors!! So i dunno what his problem is but ooh well i guess im not as good as him!! So ya and again VACATIONS ALMOST OVER!! Need more time off!! ok i have been inspired by some people to write up my own "keith story".its called "dream". so hear goes.

Dream
Heart pounding in my ears, i stared down at the guitar that had been with me so many years. music blared on stage, but i barely heard. i was just about to go on stage and open up the kenny chesney concert. this is what i had worked my whole life for.all my life i wanted to be a country singer. at 38yrs old you might say i am getting a late start.but i knew that i would appreciate it all the more. the guitar's name is clara and she had been given to me for my 5th birthday by my parents.

The guitar was probably as big as i was. but i didn't care. i squealed with laughter at the sight of the instrument. "what would you like to name it?" dad asked me. thinking a moment, i burst out with "clara!" and so a dream was born.

I'm so psyched that everyone is letting me use their computers today that I am starting a new thread cause of it! And It looks like we will have some more posters soon - just got an email today from Katie who is looking forward to joining us and I asked her to pass the word on. While I am on I am going to go onto CMT and bump up the teen call again! I can't believe how many said "YEAH" and then don't even use it once! Here is the cruelest April Fool trick ever and you will agree. I had just woken up and my mom came it my room. She's like - Oh your up.

Hey everyone,

I'm Sarah, the founder of Teen Monkeys. I've noticed that there are many, many message boards directed only to a certain group of Urbanites, but almost all exclude teens. I got really tired of being treated differently whenever I mentioned school, or anything like that. So I thought "Hey, why not just make my own board." So here I am.

It doesn't matter what you call me, Sarah or Rodeo, either one. People know me as both. I became an Urban Fan back in November whenever I saw Keith on the CMA's. I had always love his music. For two years every song he put out I loved, I just didn't know it was him putting them out. Then I was pretty much in shock when I found that one man sang all those great songs, my favorites. So I got into him a bit yeah listening to music. I didn't buy any CD's or anything. I just listened on the radio. Here�s proof. One day one of my friends printed out the words to "Days Go By" so I was reading it and for the life of me I couldn't remember how it went it was truly sad. Then I heard him speak. I had no idea he was Australian, I never would have guessed. Maybe southern, but definitely not Australian. I have no idea how it came to be, but now I am a huge Urban Fan.

I live in Butler, Pennsylvania. Along with my best friend,
Catrina, who is also an Urban Fan. She'll be on here a bit. I met Sienna on the CMT board, and we have become really close friends, she�s the second moderator / owner of this board. I'm not going to mention my age because I don't want to be treated older or younger than anybody else on here.

I really highly recommend that some people on here should write some FanFic (Fan Fiction a.k.a. stories about Keith for the fans by the fans) I write a lot of it.
