Subject: Control - a Film by Anton Corbijn

This film just recently hit my shore and it lives up to the hype on the internet.
The entire piece is in black and white but doesnt feel contrived. There's a performance of "Transmission" on the Tony Wilson, Factory Records owner, television program that is recreated in black and white that seems to fit much better with joy divisions sound than the color version.
Having read what Corbijn said about "everything you remember about joy division was in black and white" made me realize how true that statement was after seeing that recreated shot.
Im can't describe how much I want to watch this again.
Check out the this clip and then go checkout the movie if it's playing in your town.
