he's playing a show at a relatively new club called Rock and Roll Hotel. I've been there a few times and although very cool, it's all the way across town. it's tiny as all get out BUT it has all the makings of being DC's very own CBGB's. I had a weird dream the other night that i was at the show and Johnny was there! I was so shy i blocked out all the music and all i could hear was the beating of my own heart, LOL. it was cool though b/c all the DC crew was there: the guys from Fugazi, Bad Brains, Bratmobile, the Casual Dots, Mary Timmony, etc. if that many DC people were there i wuold probably pee in my pants! seriously-i DO expect the guys from Fugazi (at least Ian or Joe) to be there and if Johnny's not taken up by this lawsuit thing, he may even be there. the show will be Dec. 8th and it's a project called RRIICCEE with Eric Erlandson (Hole), Rebecca Casabian and Nikolas Haas (I'm gonna take a guess from the last name and picture he's probably Lukas' brother). it's a seated event (how many chairs can they fit in that place?! it's barely bigger than my studio apartment!) so no thrashing around. of course, you will all have a report but i don't own a camera, so...
