Someone's upset huh? someone (richard/love it/trixie) also should realize that just because you "call me out" doesn't mean I have to take notice of what you have to say or do. the internet is a big place and you can roam around without being here. i'm such a "johnny come lately" that in 1997 i traveled to the Viper Room in LA at the drop of a hat because one of my co workers at the record store i was working at at the time told me about john playing there. and being only 19 at the time i stood outside hanging out with the hot dog vendors and homeless guy just to hear a muffled sound of john playing. when he stopped playing and came out the side door of the venue i made eye contact with him for 2 seconds making my night totally worth it. -- Refugee Forum for displaced Been Insaner's

and I was into Gang Of Four from a very young age, therefore knew of the Chilis from the early days, saw JF on his first European tour with the band, had 'Niandra' the Friday before it was released in the UK (albums are released on the previous Friday in Ireland). - seriously? i thought european record release dates where on mondays for some reason. i remember hearing "ants" for the first time on the janes addiction movie "gift" in 93/94. john was still with the peppers and nothing was commercially available as far as recordings goes so i would watch the bathroom scene with the ants crawling all over them tub over and over again. then i got the cassette cause cd players were still pretty expensive, up to $80!!!, and just listening to it in full (movie version is short and edited) and being blown away. yea, i'm lame.
