據路透社倫敦消息，Insight Investment基金經理培特里克 · 阿姆斯特朗(Patrick Armstrong)計劃買入一個澳門地產基金投資項目，他相信澳門房地產業務將得益於賭業的強勁發展。

阿姆斯特朗這位手持7.6億英鎊(折合約14.1億美元)基金的基金經理說，他將投資澳門地產機會基金(Macau Property Opportunities fund)，這個剛出現不久的非主流投資市場上。

報道指出，娛樂場、酒店經營者、地產發展商和澳門政應府計劃在未來十年投入240億美元發展旅遊業，很多評論員均期望博彩業可吸引更多內地遊客。澳門地產機會基金將以格恩齊島為基地，投資零售、休閒和住宅式物業的公司。它將被一在澳註冊的Sniper Capital基金公司所管理。

另一方面，美國羅斯福基金決定在上海外灘開設東亞地區的第一間“第五大道”百貨商店。外灘地區的“第五大道”將採取部分保留建築與部分新建建築結合的方式。第二家“第五大道”將考慮選址北京，第三家則會開在澳門地區。
