Subject: if you plan on using magic hours in the park you need to stay onsite or at the swan or dolphin or downtown disney hilton.
In reply to: 's message, "QUESTION? My Husband and I want to surprise our DD with a trip to Disney as a part of their Christmas this year but am losing my mind trying to find hotel reservations on all the crazy sites. Can anyone who has been to Disney in Fla give me some suggestions on good hotels at Disney that you have been to and know are a good stay for families." on 09:42:30 11/23/10 Tue

The hilton is really nice. You can stay onsite at one of the moderate hotels or deluxe...stay away from the all stars they are low budget and not very nice.

BTW magic hours let you get in early or stay later in different parks each day. We always use it at magic kingdom and it really helps with the lines. Only those who stay on property or at the hotels i listed get that benefit, everyone else has to leave at regular closing.
