I'm the OP and not complaining about the length of time it takes to post contestants for some directors. I'm complaining that to my knowledge they never were posted and there is NO CONTACT updating your paying contestants either with most directors these days. I checked all the sites daily, refreshed, and nothing. One of the contests promised several winners and finally I did find a banner, but it only had one winner. Again, no answers to my emails. And nothing is wrong with my email. I get 100's of them every day I work online and the only problems I've ever had are with some photo contest directors. There's no way it's on my end. I'm just saying, if you are a director and can't understand why your entries are low, I've just probably explained why people aren't bothering with you anymore. -- Say What

So it takes time to download all the big photo files, resize them (and most resize in 2 sizes, the thumbnail and then the full size photo), upload them, make a contestants table, and then add the photos. And I have never seen a contest that didn't state how long it would take photos to be posted. If you read the rules, you should see when directors will have them up as well as winners, if you don't like it, don't enter. As far as emails...I could see maybe 1 director not answering them, but if it's more than one, perhaps something is wrong with your email host or theirs. My comment about the length of time it takes to post contestants had nothing to do with what was said in the original post, I was replying to the pet peeves post under it. In your case, since you never even saw them posted, that is something totally different and is unacceptable. With email, you can get 100's of emails everday and still not get them all.
