We've been to Disney several times over many years. Every time but once, we stayed at a Disney property and I would high recommend going this route. There are definately perks staying at a Disney hotel that are well worth it. For a tighter budget, stay at one of the All Star resorts. (All Star Sports, All Star Music, etc) They give you the Disney experience without the hefty price tag of some of the more upscale Disney properties. -- Say What
