the truth is and i am sure many moms would agree though they may not own up to it I would never let my family know when I enter my dd in most of the contests here because they would ream me for even being associated with such as they would say controversial trash but if I let her do that contest I can because for 1 the name is not embarrasing like oh mm my dd just won little miss spaghettios (lol not really a name) but some of the contest names are just silly and not one my family would actually say oh that is great , to me the name is a big deal and then there are the entries lets face it you win in that contest you have something to brag about and 3 the prizes are worth trying for and while seeing my dd do pageants is fun i like her to sometimes actually compete against new people and see how well she does most contest swe do it is always the same kids . i like pageants but would rather her win a model event so i can tell my family and not hide it, just saying that is my experience -- Say What
