唔係。

鎮靜劑 = anxiolytic agent / tranquilizer﹐藥理學上多作用於GABA receptor (to increase chloride ion intake)﹐化學上多為benzodiazepine and its derivative。不過亦有其他類型(如barbiturates)

麻醉劑 = anaesthetic﹐藥理學上多作用於Na-channel﹐又有分局部(e.g. lidocaine / xylocaine)同全身(e.g. halothane / sevoflurane)麻醉劑。
