嗯﹐你媽媽幾大?

一般一邊膝頭哥痛+骨刺應該係骨質性關節炎(排除其他問題如septic arthritis/bone malignancy後)﹐情況唔嚴重可以有幾方面考慮

(一)做物理治療
-醫院有物理治療師﹐可以同醫生/醫療社工商量
(二)如本身超重: 減肥
-過重會增加關節負荷
(三)藥物治療減輕痛楚
-你媽媽用ibuprofen tablet 200mg同piroxicam capsule 10mg都係屬於NSAID類消炎止痛藥﹐對骨質性關節炎有效﹐但需要注意對腸胃會有影響(可能會導致胃同十二指腸出血/潰瘍)﹐慢性出血更會引致貧血
-如果需要暫時性舒緩痛楚/活動可以試試關節打類固醇針﹐但副作用比NSAID更大﹐所以唔係主流療法

至於你問題
1.唔係我地傳統療法但可以試試﹐成效不明(no pharmacokinetic/dynamic study available)
2.應該冇﹐但要依照指示服用﹐對其過敏人士亦不能服用
3.同上面1.﹐唔係我地西醫療法﹐不過可以一試
4.相反地﹐患者應該(1)如超重要減肥﹔(2)要讓關節有活動+做適量運動﹐呢點最好聯絡物理治療師

如果情況冇改善﹐痛楚持續影響日常工作生活就需要考慮更換關節﹐不過如果輪政府可能要輪好耐同埋價錢唔平(如果唔係緊急手術)。呢方面要同醫生商量。
