要知道點解就要少少physiology/pharmacology底

NSAID係COX inhibitor...COX(分COX-1同COX-2)負責製造唔同種類PG﹐其中PGE2其中一功能係負責保護胃部(黏膜生成+ HCO3-synthesis)﹐你NSAID係將所有好同壞PG都一併KO所以會引發胃痛/胃潰瘍

Paracetamol本身唔屬於COX system(但亦有科學家將佢分類做COX-3)﹐所以唔會KO 由普通COX生成既PG﹐paracetamol一般降熱同止痛功效比NSAID好但消炎功效較差。但過量服食會引致急性肝衰竭--->死亡。

如果要用NSAID但同時要止胃痛係有藥食(其實係補充返俾NSAID KO o左o既 PG)但一般情況係叫病人進食定時同用食物送藥﹐必要時可以轉藥試試。NSAID除左對胃部有刺激性外對腎同氣管都有影響。
