Hi Sharon,
I lived in Vegas for about 7 years, off and on. I travelled home weekends, and I spent much time on planes. Although a joke with my Vegas friends was always about Logan Safety (even back then), I never felt threatened.

I still don't. No passenger is going to let anything happen. They proved that the other day when the jumped the guy breaking into the cock pit.

I love Manchester. It is much easier to get to than Logan. Smaller, and much quieter. Let me also ensure you that McCarren Airport in Vegas is one of the safest airports around. They are wonderful! I hope he is flying in through there, because they don't even let you take your baggage out of the terminal unless they check your ID! And, that was many years ago. I would imagine they are much safer now!

I hope I eased your concerns just a little.

Also, I own a childloss site, and some of my parents have other children that are in the military. I will also check to see if there are any places they can write. I know that the USS Enterprise is receiving emails from kids and family members. I will look around on the net for you, and see what I can find out!

Kelly
