Let's "get it straight" MMC, after MrE made a big stink about its sign in the window on this forum last Saturday, M.L. Shaw's took down the sign in the window, changed the message on the marque billboard, and then publicly apologized to anybody they may have offended.

"Was" and "were" are two verbs, which connotes something in the past tense. Remember that, MMC.

I'm not trying to start a war here on this forum, Kelly.

I simply think the message that was being displayed at M.L. Shaw's prior to Saturday, whether it was by the restaurant's management or really a prankster, underminds the goals and objectives of what our nation's leaders are trying to do to keep everybody in the U.S.A. cohesive in this war on terrorism.
