Subject: AMERICA, I LOVE YOU!

I have sat and watched. I have sat and listened. For several days I have held in my emotions. It was not willing, but was blocked by shock. Feelings of anger and sadness held inside me. This morning they have been released. I turned on the television to see a televised story of countries overseas having a 3-minute moment of silence. The changing of the guard�s format was even changed in Americas honor. Their countries people crying with us. I myself am crying as I write. I now see and feel the unity of America and it�s people, along with other countries showing support.

I feel better after finally releasing my emotions, but the sadness will always be in my heart, for it has been broken. I have support in my family and friends. They have support in me. �I love you� are the words I speak. True feelings to my wife before we rest for the night. True feelings to my wife before we separate from each other when going out and doing daily chores. True feelings to my family after speaking with one another.

The cowardly acts that played out on September 11th were terrible. With the bad, will come the good. The good has been shown in the unity of all Americans. Our country fathers have our support, and we have theirs.

From bother and sister to neighbor and friend, we shall stand united. American flags are flying on cars and at homes and businesses. Wave to your neighbor as you pass. Lend a helping hand, even when not asked. We shall overcome this tragic event and become one.

We stand, one nation under God.

America, I love you!
