Some nationals do use different judges, but they have the 0-4 during the morning and 5-up in afternoon with different judges. But they usually dont give 1 overall for the whole pageant. They have enough kids that they give lots of supremes and a overall in just what that age group was for those judges. Im sure it wasnt done on purpose, but something to think about for next time.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't done on purpose. But look at this, the afternoon judges judged the photos for the morning kids and the morning judges judged the photos for the afternoon kids. That, I think was very smart because they never saw the kids they judged on stage. Plus, let's not forget that alot of the older girls were marked down on their photos because they had makeup on. So the younger girls did get the advantage there.

And girls of all ages were marked down for "retouching", so no one had an advantage.
I think whatever the judging situation, for the most part the winners were right on anyway. There was alot of tough competition.

I agree. And the PW clearly stated the photo rules, so it wasn't as much as an advantage as it was just following the rules on the PW.
