(She hadn't slept in so long that it was instinct to wake up after a catnap, and within twenty minutes she roused a little. It took a moment for her to realize that the warmth around her was Braden, and she let her gaze wander over the relaxed form of the man below her. It felt so amazingly good to be held by someone.. especially a man like Braden, who was good and honorable. She had never had a serious boyfriend, so this sort of thing was new for her and it made a flutter of nerves curl up inside her. Her hand unfisted and for a moment she almost let the nerves get the best of her, but instead of getting up she flattened her hand on his chest over his heart and snuggled closer to him. He smelled good.. like soap and aftershave and something else that was purely male. The comforting weight of his arms around her was welcomed and her hand slid ip to his shoulder as she turned her face into his neck and sighed, her breath fanning over his neck. She hadn't let herself sink into full relaxation since the news had come of Keegan's death.. so now that she had the chance to do so she took it.)
