(She arched a lean brow as she looked up at him.. Lord, she was sitting on the counter and she still had to look up to see his face. She idly opened the drawer under her left hand and snagged a couple of peanut m&m's from a bag the two of them kept hidden in there. She popped one into her mouth and shrugged at his statement, though a happiness spread through her.) No reason.. I was just curious. (She fibbed, pretty obviously in fact. As she ate the other two M&M's, she listened to him ordering their dinner, leaning back on her hands once she had finsihed off the snack, letting her head hang back between her shoulders. She had had way too much time on her hands that day, and after finishing one of the romance novels she read, she was thinking about how she wanted that sort of thing for herself.. and well, she lived with a gorgeous man that reminded her a lot of the men in her books.. and it wasn't difficult to take that train of thought right down a dead end track. She tipped her head, eyeing him without lifting her head.) Uhm.. just so you know.. I wouldn't have slept with him.
