(Right. She hadn't lost him. Because you had to have something in order to lose it.. and she definitely didn't have Braden. She watched him for a moment, letting the dim room fill with quiet, the way it should be.. not filled with her tears. What was she doing anyways.. laying in here with him like he was.. her boyfriend.. or something. Perhaps they were just unclear in their boundaries. Yes. That had to be it.. she was under his guardianship.. he was supposed to be a sort of father figure for her.. and that definitely didn't entail sleeping beside him and craving the strength of his arms around her. No, that was definitely a crossed boundary right there. She cleared her throat, running a hand over her face to gather herself.) I'm sorry.. i didn't mean to wake you up.. I'm sure you're still tired.. (She murmured softly, her voice back under control and no longer shaky as it had been. She shifted her weight, then sat up.) I should.. let you sleep. (She said, as though trying to convince herself that she really shouldn't be in there. That no matter how much she wanted to curl up and let him hold her, she had no right to ask that of him. He obviously had quite enough shit to handle without her getting in the way.) Maybe I will just go take a shower and read a book or something.. (She added, pushing her hair over her shoulder.)
