He couldn't help the purely arrogant male smirk that crossed his face as he gazed down at her. Damn, she was gorgeous. Enough to make any man feel a lick of lust in his stomach, that was for sure. "Never felt like that cuz it's never been with me before." He stated with a cocky wink before he looked up at the wagon driver and then back down to her, his hazel eyes warm and adoring. "I've wanted to do that for awhile..you know, sweetheart, a long while...since damn near the first time I saw you." He stated softly, his hand lifting up to brush her hair back for a moment before he let out a soft breath. "but...baby...you know this can't go any farther for now..." He murmured gently, his voice quiet and loving even though it wasn't exactly good news he was speaking. "You aren't quite legal yet and...I'm leaving tomorrow....but I wanted you to know how I felt...before I go." He stated, not saying the inevitable 'if anything should happen' because he didn't want to taint the evening with that dark note. "But..well...you know...we could keep practicing the whole kissing thing until your eighteen..." ...and after that who knew what would happen. He wouldn't pressure her for anything she wasn't ready for but damn, he was a walking bundle of hormones and he didn't see that changing in the least any time soon. He figured their seperation while he was on assignment would only heighten the need he felt for her. At least, when he could see her he could kind of just revel in her beauty and..well...use it as fodder for his fantasies but hell....memories weren't going to keep him warm at night.
