(She sighed as she dumped the uncooked hash browns into the pan she had just removed the finished eggs from. She was stirring it when he asked about what had been going on back home while he'd been away. He'd been gone quite awhile and she had to consciously think back to what had been happening when he'd left.) Well, no.. she didn't have the baby yet, though I think she would like to give him or her an eviction notice. Her due date is like.. in a week or something and the baby is showin' no sign of wantin' to come out yet. (She checked on the steak and flipped it, heading over to the other counter to pick up a steak knife, which she used to delicately cut into the steak to check if it was cooked properly.) Gia, however, did have her baby.. it's a boy, Ryan. (She reached up without really looking to pull two plates down from the cupboard, and set them on the counter beside her.) That was the main reason I was staying here this last week.. cause.. I guess the baby's got some sort of light sensitivity issue. Skeeter says he cries all the time when he's in the light. (She deftly cut up the steak, parceling it out so that he got more than the lion's share. She didn't particularly enjoy as much red meat as he did. She was flipping the hash browns and dishing out eggs and bacon when she continued.) I got to spend some time with Remy and Shay a couple weeks ago, when Skeeter picked up the puppies.. we went over there when he brought her home so that we could cheer her up. Turns out that she's pregnant.. and the baby made it through just fine. (She dished out the hashbrowns, shut off the oven and came over to the counter with two plates.) Everyone's kinda baby happy nowadays, huh. (She set one before him and produced a pair of forks, handing one over to him.) You should see their place.. the dads made it so that you'd never know anything happened. Though, I heard Haylie and Shay talking and I think they are both gunning to move everyone out of that place and into the suburbs. (She ate standing at the counter, half leaning, more than comfortable on her feet. It as nice to just relax and share a meal with him, it had been so long since she had someone there with her, and she'd pined for him. She tilted her head, wondering if her question would bother him, but curiousity was welling in her.) Did everything go alright? With your mission, I mean.. (She knew that Kyrian had left much later than Braden adn the men had returned together.. so part of her wondered what, if anything, had gone wrong.)
