"Kyr was freaking out the whole time. I swear he's worse than an old woman. I am suprised Haylie hasn't killed him yet. She doesn't strike me as a woman with a ton of patience to spare." A low groan escaped his lips when she set down the food and he promptly began to dig in, nodding from time to time at her story and inserting little words here and there. "I'm glad the baby is ok. When I left we knew she was pregnant but wasn't sure if the little bit would make it or not." Pausing just a moment, he took another long drink of his orange juice before continuing on with his devouring for his food. The only other time he looked up was when she asked how his mission went. With a pursed lip and a thoughtful expression, he eyed her for a long moment before he nodded a touch forcefully. "It was a green." A go, a successful mission. That was all he would say on the matter and he showed that fact by looking down at the food once more. Good thing she had made a lot - he had eaten more than twice what an average man would and was still hungry. Thankfully, his plate was half full. Quickly, he sent up a quick prayer of thanks to God for giving him a girl who so willing and competently saw his needs and met them. A smile played on his lips at that, wondering how the hell he got so blessed, before he focused once more on his food instead of his more wistful thoughts. At least he had some manners, he did use his silverware and his napkin properly.
