Subject: Shutting Down Sam The Jokester (cont'd)

If my memory serves me correctly, it all started when Sam played a very embarrasing prank on me. (I'm sorry, but I can't reveal that story) We were still working on my CD and I was searching for a way to get Sam back. Ralph Wranker was shooting my CD photos and I believe we had been all over South Texas that day, then ended up at my house which has two acres of trees, horses and old things to photograph. I am not sure which one of us came up with the idea, but we decided that a topless photo webpage plastered on the internet should do it, since Sam knew that I would not even come close to doing such a thing. (Now I'm sure that was Ralph's idea, haha) Since Ralph is such an awesome computer guru, he figured he could photograph me in a swimsuit bikini top and the rest, of course, computerized. So, I had to pose in the most explicit or sexy way to get the effect, but it turned out I was not too good at posing because I was laughing most of the time. Ralph got the photos and loaded them on the computer and started building me "computer boobs" - I think it took him at least a week, inbetween all the phone calls from Ralph asking me embarrasing questions, like what is your size, etc. It really wasn't so bad, since I was very determined for this prank to be perfect. Along the way, we both had to engineer our stories and of course try not to crack any smiles, to be believeable. Finally, Ralph sent me his artistic work of my perfect "computer boobs" and I gave my okay. Ralph then sent my topless photo/webpage to Sam - I remember it was sent in the evening when we knew Sam would be at home checking his fanmail. It wasn't 10 minutes when I received the phone call from Sam - "Cindy, I am shocked!" How come you let Ralph take topless photos of you?.......on and on and on........I kept a straight face on the phone and kept my story straight, because Sam kept me on the phone for at least half an hour. Of course Ralph was next and had to do the same. I know I never told Sam the truth, but I think Ralph gave him some hints (did you Ralph?). I know Sam believed it at least for the first 24 hrs until the photo was removed by Ralph for security reasons. And you thought that was the end......Sam got me back again! I walked into the studio a week or two later and my color topless photo was plastered all over the studio, the doors, the bathroom, on the back of Mike Gregory's car and other places I never knew of. I found out later from Sam, that he downloaded the photo and made copies of it that same night he received it. Weeks down the road Sam would make mention of how he was not fooled, but I continued to tell him that I really bared all for the photo. I have never had so much fun and laughs with one person in my life! I hope this story made you smile, because Sam was full of humor and many other wonderful qualities. I miss you, Sam!! (Ralph, if I left anything out, please feel free to tell).....................Cindy
