I showed Sam how I created the photograph, but he refused to believe me. He was convinced that it was real. So I showed him the fully clothed photo of Cindy, then an edited version. He was amazed as I showed him the steps, but then he said; "No, it's a trick, it has to be real." For months afterward, Sam would make mention of the photo, and he would never believe the truth. The perfect scam.
