Just a little bit of outsider thinkin' here and I don't mean no harm. You got some folks buildin' and sellin' houses for 1, 2, and 3 million dollars in a town ain't got no jobs to offer that can pay those $900 and $1000 rents some folks charge to live there. If somebody puts a house up that's worth $2million the property taxes for everybody in the area shoot straight up through their britches! But there still ain't no local jobs to balance that out. It pushes the locals who spent their lives there right out so the ones stayin' have to bust their straps to keep up and keep their life investments. Buildin' fancy McMansions is very pretty but only for looks. How about gettin' somebody in place who knows how to bring in some business? Not some minimum wagers who refuse to hire full timers. How about somebody who can focus on cleaning the place up, stop the non tax payers I see mentioned here from soppin' up the gravy. Get the undocumenteds out, clean up the houses that are around. Turn the place into somethin' a nice company wants to come to where they'll feel safe. There must be somebody in town who can do that and who wants to. Don't you think so?
