I hope people realize the fact that the proposed tax increse would be what it is whether or not the city circus agreed on the Firefighters contract. I also hope The concerned tax payers also understand the personal financial sacrifices the Firefighters made to keep the level of service provided by the Firefighters at the apex of professionalism in which we all are acustomed too.

Lets see if the teachers union will make the same sacrifices, after all the school taxes in the city are heftier than the city and county taxes combined. Then lets see if our fine officers and patrolman in our police department will follow suit since after all, the PD budget is a big chunk of the overall budget.
