Claims The Great Valentine, people will flock to Newburgh, staying at our fine hotels, dine at our upscale houses of haute gastronimy and shop til they drop at our Rodeo (Marine?) Drive shoppees. All the while dodging gangs, getting threatened on our east and south end neighborhoods, avoiding our 13 year old knifers and all the rest of our activities that rival any Catskill Summer Camp.

My question is, who's paying the Security ticket for this brainfart idea? Actually, where is the security coming from in a city where kids wield weapons in schools and on school busses? Is the CC going to hire from our elementary school classes?

Isn't this just what Tourism is all about?
