The general public, especially young women have had enough pressure to be thin pushed at them over the years. We need to promote a healthier body and lifestyle. How are the kids at schools going to react to her? "Make good choices, but listen to what I say, not what I do." ??? If she didn't have an eating disorder, she should have made that her platform somehow instead of her fluffy one that somehow got her through. People look at her and immediately assume the girl needs a dinner roll. It just won't translate well at Miss America. This is not the USA system where stick (unhealthy) thin is encouraged.
