The Link below are some pictures that are of Miss Washington 2007 - Elyse Umemoto. In all fairness these must not be taken lightly. She is suppose to be a role model for the girls in the program. These photos really show the "Real" Miss Washington and it is an embarrassment to the MAO and the Miss Washington organization.

Elyse also did not graduate from Pacific Lutheran University since she committed plagiarism on her final Capstone Research project in Psychology. This shows her true colors and this should be brought out into the public. No young girl should look up to Umemoto, she has diminished the Miss Washington Organization's reputation.

MPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Sam Haskell, Art McMaster, Kirk Ryder and I just completed the kickoff meetings for this year�s Reality Show, and there is much to report! We met with the TLC executives assigned to our show, along with our new Reality Show producers, called Tijuana Entertainment.

First let me tell you about Tijuana. They are one of the leading producers of entertainment programming for domestic and international television networks, and they are based in El Segundo, California. John Foy and Troy Searer are the founding partners, best known for their executive producing credits on hit shows like �The Biggest Loser,� �Beauty and the Geek,� �For Love or Money,� �Breaking Bonaduce,� �Endurance� and �Going Hollywood.� Tijuana Entertainment is excited about this new project, and they look forward to showcasing our 52 contestants as they prepare for the national finals in Las Vegas.

TLC announced to us that they are budgeting for eight (8) episodes beginning September 10th in Los Angeles. Each episode will take three full days of filming, and after filming two episodes (6 days) the entire cast and crew will get a day off. Taping these eight episodes will necessitate carrying the filming into October. The arrival of the contestants is scheduled for September 10th, and their departure date will now be October 10th. We had previously informed you that all filming would be completed in September, but the recently-finalized shooting schedule for the eight episodes is longer than we originally anticipated. TLC also informed us that they are considering a ninth and final episode which will be taped in Las Vegas during rehearsals and preliminaries. This final episode will not require any extra work for the contestants outside of their usual pageant week activities.

We will need to reschedule some appearances with Miss America 2008 Kirsten Haglund, and we know some of you will have to do the same for your state titleholders. We hope you understand the larger picture for our organization and the value of the exposure our contestants will receive over the course of eight and possibly nine episodes. This type of exposure to our organization cannot even be measured! We have transitioned from a �one night per year� pageant to an entire 11 hours of programming, including our nine (9) episodes and our Miss America Live! finale. These episodes will begin airing on TLC in December leading all the way up to the finals on January 24th.

Obviously this show is now being placed on the fast track, and TLC is currently looking for a shooting location in the Los Angeles area. As our state pageants wrap up, obtaining information about your contestant is crucial. Please adhere to the deadlines we have provided you. We have invited Tijuana Entertainment to Orlando to speak at our workshop to both the Executive Directors and the contestants. At that time, we will all openly discuss the Reality Show as much as is allowable.

As it is our goal to keep you fully informed, as The Miss America Organization receives information, we will pass it on to you and your contestant.

She is suppose to be a role model for the girls in the program. These photos really show the "Real" Miss Washington and it is an embarrassment to the MAO and the Miss Washington organization. Elyse also did not graduate from Pacific Lutheran University since she committed plagiarism on her final Capstone Research project in Psychology. This shows her true colors and this should be brought out into the public.
