I was in shock when Janae came out in a one piece, and then ended up taking the preliminary swimsuit. I honestly thought that Paige was way too skinny. Anikka wasn't even in my Top 10 at first, but after last night, she was just put into my Top 5. I knew Megan was going to be outstanding. I'm honestly so confused as to where this is going. I will be surprised if Janae wins now because not only is a one piece not competitive at MA (sorry we know it's true), but she didn't get a preliminary talent which I thought she had in the bag. I've also heard that her interview is not the strongest. From what I have witnessed (OSQ, small interviews, etc) she seems a little caught off guard when speaking. I thought this was her crown tonight, but I'm not sure anymore. Megan hhas a real great shot at it if you ask me. As well as Paige. And, if WA were to crown someone who did not win a preliminary, it would be Cherisse. All three of these young ladies were the standouts to me last night. Date Posted: 14:46:42 07/06/15 Mon Author Host/IP: amcproxy.faa.gov/162.58.82.135 After being at competition both nights, I was really surprised to see in person some of these contestants being hyped here as "MA contender", "SS winner for sure", "fantastic unique talent", etc. The only ones that lived up to the hype were Paige and Janae. I was not surprised that Paige won SS for Alpha. Her presentation looked effortless on stage. Janae was lovely, and I was sad to not see her in the top 5. She still has a year or two of eligibility so maybe she'll be back. The top 5 was mostly not my pick, but you could tell the judges went for talent an interview. After thinking about it for the weekend, I think the judges got it right. It will be interesting to see how Lizzie stacks up at Miss A. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
