1246pm update: Wlliston Horsemans Park has confirmed that we WILL be able to hold our rodeo and SN event the weekend of the 16-17. There will be NO change to the schedule I posted over the weekend. At this time we will be required to produce a Health Certificate drawn no more than 24 hours prior of your arrival to the property and as alway a current record of coggins. Below is an update from the Director of Animal industry with some help[ful hints on how to avoid contamination. Please know that I will be monitoring this situation closely and updating the chat regularly.

Dr. Holt stated that there have ben no new cases and there will be no shutting down entry into Florida. As of the beginning of next week they will be lifting all quarantines. He stated pulling a health Certificate is always a good thing but in this case does not see how pulling a 24 hour health certificate will help as a horses temp can change due to transport. He stated if any precautions were to be taken he suggest taking their temp upon arrival, no sharing water buckets and no tying out except at your own trailer. I'am also forwarding this to Williston Horsemans Association in hopes to lift the Health certificate order.

Dr. Thomas Holt - Director, Division of Animal Industry

Thank you and God bless
