Subject: Fundraiser for Cancer Research

Hi everyone-

I am writing you all about the Stay Awake-A-Thon fundraiser for cancer. This event is happening May 2 at Hendrick Hudson High School. I have decided to be a part of this fund raiser this year because of my good friend, Lisa Frieder. Lisa's mom, Gina Frieder, passed away last April from cancer. Gina was always one to help others, and we would like to contribute to raising money for cancer research, in her honor. Lisa is the team captain of "Team Gigi", and myself, and a group of our friends are getting together to be part of the team.
