Subject: Brazilian Elections

Dear Editor,

Unfortunately I have to agree with your article and with Paulo Rabello de Castro. Brazil has been suffered a lot with this kind of situation and politician. These kind of political events have being happening in Brazil since of the Colonial Period.
To get the situation a little worse, Brazil’s last president - Fernando Henrique Cardoso - stopped the development in many areas, practically “gave” some of Brazilian’s biggest companies such as Vale do Rio Doce, and increased a lot Brazil’s external debit and many other things in 8 years of government.
Now a day, Brazil has a president like Lula and the only option or the “less worse” option Brazilian people have is try to trust him again. Lula can be blamed and made many mistakes in the last 4 years, however he didn’t increase Brazilian’s external debit and also could pay it monthly without ask for a new negotiation, besides increases jobs opportunities, made many arrangements in order to help elder people, families and people in general.
I’m not a fan of Workers Party, but I and most Brazilians want to believe that for this election Lula is our “best” option.

Bests,

Patricia Minelli
