Subject: Friendship with the opposite sex

Some people think that it's impossible to be friends with a person of the opposite sex. If you're seen together then you're obviously dating, right? Wrong. There is no good reason why guys and girls can't be friends and just leave it at that.

My best friend, for example, is a guy. We've known eachother since grade school and can talk about anything. We even went on vacation to Virginia together this past summer. There is no "relationship" between the two of us, but of course, that's not what most people think.

It is absolutely possible for a guy and girl to be "just friends." I just want to say that sometimes when people say there's nothing going on, there really isn't anything. So, if you know someone, especially a girl/boy friend who has a friend of the opposite sex, don't worry. Not EVERY guy and girl have to bo dating. Some really are just friends.
