You're right in everything you are saying. The fact is it is never going to become an ideal world. It may get a little better at times but it is still heading downwards madness and chaos. I don't know what belief you hold to be true but I believe in the Word of God written in the Bible. It talks about the end times and shows how the world will end up in maddness and chaos and ultimatly it will destroy it's self by being so corrupt that God will end all the madness by whiping everything out. Even though I believe this I still believe that we need to help everyone we can so as to keep people from being chaotic and destroying themselves. Whatevere belief you hold to be true your realization of the surrounding world and unrest with it is a very good and right response.
The world will never be saved from it's own created chaos but we can still keep individuals from being destroyed along with it.
