Malek,

I loved the way you put it, it was very strong and at the same time friendly. I love it especially when you say

"Sometimes it is the tough love that helps you the most so stick with those who really care for you and they will help make sure you stay out of trouble and I hope you have a productive high school career."

Personally I started smoking when I was 18 (quite old to start something like this) and now I'm 22 and TODAY (this very day, November 8) is my 13th day without cigarrettes. And let me tell you I'm having a hard hard time. I feel very anxious and also lazy. There are moments when I feel I'm gonna die if I don't have a fag. But I'm holding on... I think the worst part is gone.

So I say: avoid each and every kind of addiction. Be it cigarettes, weed or chocolate: addiction to substances cannot ever be good to someone. It may start as a joke, a play among friends... later it may become a nightmare, either because you get sick or you want to avoid getting sick but cannot stop the habit. So keep away.

Malek, very nice advice!
Cheers,
Mariana Costa.
