MISS TEENAGE CALIFORNIA PAGEANT
YOU MAY NOT HAVE KNOWN

Contestants are judged on Scholastic Achievement, School Involvement, Leadership, Poise, Personality, and Appearance. There is no swimsuit or talent competition.

Provides more scholarships and prizes than any other state teen pageant in the nation.

The longest running state programs for teen girls of its kind in the United States.

The program has been produced by Danfranc Productions for 29 consecutive years.

The Miss Teenage California Scholarship Pageant was the winner of the Best State Pageant/Western Region. This award was presented to Danfranc Productions in 1996 by the International Pageant Association.

In 1997 won two more Achievement Awards from the World Association of Talent & Entertainment. Won for Best Service Organization, and Best Talent Competition for the Annual California Teen Vocal Championships.

President and Founder of Danfranc Productions, Mr. Frank K. Lameira was inducted into the Performing Arts Hall of Fame, to join other iluminaries like Garth Brooks, Producer, Sid Smith, Liza Minelli and many others!

Many of our past winners and contestants are now attending some of the nations best universities. Former Miss Teenage California's have graduated or are currently attending schools like, U.C.L.A., University of Southern California, University of California, U.C. Davis, Harvard, Dartmouth, Univ of Washington, Georgia tech., Penn State, New York University, and the list goes on and on!

The Miss Teenage California Scholarship pageant is supervised by an excellent staff of adults, who keep the contestants in a safe environment during their stay. We are proud to state that we have never had to disqualify a contestant for poor behavior.

Winners and contestants have appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Seventeen magazine, Teen Magazine, Pageantry Magazine, Pageant Life Magazine, and on the Leeza Gibbons Show.

No previous pageant experience is necessary! In fact, most contestants and winners have competed in a pageant for the first time at Miss Teenage California!
