Our latest meeting took place on 2nd April.

Joan Musaheb and Dorothy Rawlings told all about their round-the-world trip aboard the Aurora. This was a holiday of a lifetime. They sailed on the 8th January 2007 from Southampton. There were 13 decks, theatres, shops, church, cinemas, restaurants and dance halls, even a fish & chip shop.

After leaving Southampton their first port of call was Madeira. They visited St. Vincent, Brazil, Rio, Argentina, Port Stanley, rounded the Horn, visited Chile plus many other places. The days just flew by.

They had a trip on shore at many places. Port Stanley and Tokyo were particular favourites.

The return was via Pitcairn Island, Tonga, Japan, Australia, Hololulu, Barbados and then back home to Southampton on 22nd April.

The competition winners for April were :

1st - Jean Kilby
2nd - Olive Waters
3rd - Diane Edwards

On 30th April there will be a trip to Swansea by train for all WI members, family and friends. Meet at Knighton station by 9:45 am.

On Tuesday 6th May there will be a Pudding & Punch evening for all at the Methodist Church. 7pm for 7.30. Proceeds to WI.

Next WI meeting is May 7th at 7.30 pm.
