Miss Twin Cities is the last pageant - Feb 23 & 24, 2007. Miss Minnesota will be in June, 2007 - there are least 6 open pageants out of 15 for this year. Could be one more, but not sure.

I believe the State Board is working on getting more locals throughout the state, and bringing the pageant back to the numbers from years ago. It will take time, but they will do it. I also think having any pageants run later than February isn't giving much time for the young lady to prepare for the State Pageant. Hope this helps.

If it's closed, you're more than likely dealing with a lot of first time contestants, so an earlier pageant date is more desireable.
