Gore - Loverman EP2+ November 18, 2003 MARTIN L. GORE, songwriter and one of the founding members of Depeche Mode, will release his "LOVERMAN" EP2+ November 18 on Mute/Reprise Records. This package will include a live DVD filmed in Milan on GORE's recent tour and a bonus CD with two versions of "Loverman," the Nick Cave song that GORE covered on his recent solo album COUNTERFEIT2, described as "an exquisitely passionate homage to some of his most treasured and inspirational songs (Billboard 5/10/03)." The DVD consists of five live songs from the COUNTERFEIT2 album, plus an exclusive video interview with GORE. The bonus CD also includes two remixes of another COUNTERFEIT2 song: "Das Lied Vom Einsamen Mädchen," a Nico song from her Camera Obscura album. GORE fans will also want to take note of the "Loverman" 12" vinyl EP which includes three tracks from the bonus CD, plus an exclusive Bola instrumental remix of "Loverman." Gore's COUNTERFEIT2 album is the second in his Counterfeit cover version series and--like his first Counterfeit release in 1989--is a wildly diverse and passionate collection, recorded at his own home studio in California.
