But this Sat 11/8 at 7PM at the Rock Hall, you can hear His Excellency Andras Simonyi, the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary and Cleveland Mayor Jane Campbell host a special presentation: Rockin' for the Free World: How Rock Helped Bring Down the Iron Curtain. Jeff" Skunk" Baxter, former lead guitarist for the Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan will make the introductions. Rock music was a major factor in challenging communists' rule in Hungary and Eastern Europe. Could it play the same role in the Middle East?
