Yeah, it's natures way of cleaning up, unfortunately people live there too and their lives are disrupted by it. At John Darling, they were rather happy the mangroves were cleaned out by the hurricane for ecological reasons.

I've been down lots before the hurricane and several times after, I love it and think either lush or sunny is beautiful on Sanibel!!
