a good way to describe it. The first time we went we fell in love with a lush tropical jungle. The next time we went, we enjoyed a sunny tropical island. My brother went with us for the first time last summer. He thought both Sanibel and Captiva were gorgeous. He had nothing to compare it to. We got used to the new look right away. It's unfortunate that they were hit by Charley, but it's just how things go in that area. They clean it all up and keep going. I would never discourage anyone from visiting there. It's a beautiful place.
