I have a friend who goes to Sanibel every January. She has experienced a variety of weather but in general compared to my April trips it is cool. With that being said, 50-60F is much warmer than the northeast where she lives. As always, the shelling depends on the tides and the storms. The crowds...more in winter than summer but IMO its all lighter than pre-Charley.

Enjoy!

OK - we are now going for a few days in January
